Hearth Market Food Garden, Portsmouth, NH
August 25th 2023
Visited the Hearth Food Garden in Portsmouth, NH on a rainy Friday morning (that covers a lot of Friday’s this summer ; ) for breakfast. What a beautiful, relaxed, welcoming space they’ve created in Portsmouth! The Hearth Food Garden is a marketplace with various unique food options and communal seating, where you can spread out and choose where you lounge at….indoors or out. I suspect this place is hopping midday, serving the business lunchtime crowd, but it was a serene ‘Lush’ oasis when we visited midmorning. There is so much to do in Portsmouth. The next time you’re looking to make a day if it at the USS Albacore Submarine and Museum , John Paul Jones House or taking a show in at the Prescott Park Arts Festival - consider starting at The Hearth Food Garden.
I grabbed a bunch of photos (and maybe went a little overboard) to give you an idea of the layout.
The Hearth Food Garden is at 60 Penhallow Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801
